Key-Co System Training Course in Madrid

From 4 to 8 February, the first training course developed by Key-Co Systemproject will be held in Madrid, Spain. Teachers and educators working in the the field of adult education will take part to a 5-day seminar hosted by the Spanish organizations Solidaridad Sin Fronteras and Asociación Guaranì. Many challenging topics will be on the agenda: the migration issue, the methodologies to enhance the life experience of the adult learner, the need to overcome ethnocentrism, prejudice and discrimination. With the contribution of local experts and teachers from the Dipartimento di Giurisprudenza of the Università degli Studi di Palermo, we’ll give participants efficient tools to improve their work with and for migrant learners.

It will be the first step towards the development of new tools for teachers and operators working in the field of migrant adult education. Notably, Key-Co System will develop a European research about “Second Language Learning in Adult Migrants Education”, didactic tools for teachers and trainers and an online platform containing e-learning lessons about the 8 key competences for lifelong learning. In particular, this platform will represent an innovative and flexible tool, able to easily meet the needs of an adult learner and, at the same time, stimulating its motivation and participation.

The seminar in Madrid will be the first of the three training events for teachers and educators organized in the framework of Key-Co System project, to be held in Germany (October 2019) and Italy (June 2020).
